Q. What inspired you to start your wellbeing business?

A.  After years in corporate sales, I began to feel a deep need for more purpose and balance in my life. In 2020, I retrained in massage therapy and gradually built my business while raising my son, eventually taking it full time for greater freedom and fulfilment. My focus is women’s wellbeing, I offer holistic treatments like pregnancy and deep tissue massage, as well as adapted massage for cancer patients, something especially close to my heart after my mum’s diagnosis. I used to book her spa days to help her relax, but she was often refused massage treatments because of her condition. It was incredibly frustrating and became a key reason I wanted to specialise in safe, supportive care for women on similar journeys. I later trained at The Christie School of Oncology to ensure I could offer this with confidence and compassion. I also provide beauty treatments like LVL lashes and brows to enhance your natural beauty because I truly think feeling good goes hand-in-hand with looking good.

Q. What’s one unexpected lesson you’ve learned since becoming self-employed?

A.  The constantness of running a business. It’s not just the treatments; it’s the admin, marketing, accounts, and planning, all on me. There’s always something to do and switching off can be hard. But it’s also taught me resilience, better boundaries and the importance of protecting my energy.

Q. What part of your work fills your cup and reminds you why you do what you do?

A.  What fills my cup is seeing someone leave more relaxed, feeling better about themselves, and truly at ease. Their appreciation and the shift in how they feel remind me why I love what I do.

Q. What’s one thing you do regularly that helps you stay balanced?

A.  Making time for myself is key to staying balanced. Whether it’s a run, bike rides, Reformer Pilates, a massage or getting outside for long walks with my partner, son and our dog - it all helps me reset. Travelling also keeps me inspired and gives me space to recharge.

Q. What would be one free tip to help others Work Well?

A. Be organised and plan ahead, especially if you’re thinking about a career change. Save up, create some structure and most importantly, do what works best for you. Everyone’s path looks different, and that’s okay.
